ABOUT CHEF ALLY

Ally’s family instilled a deep love and appreciation of food and cooking at a young age. She learned the origins of food but more importantly, the value of gathering family and friends together for a delicious and nourishing meal.  Countless hours were spent cooking a meal together from start to finish or making homemade rolls and sweet treats – sometimes with half the neighborhood over to join in on the fun culinary adventures. She was a young, but discerning, taste tester for her mother’s catering business.  Her adolescent years spent with her sister in 4-H programs taught her to be proficient and comfortable working and teaching in a kitchen. Needless to say, this is a lifelong dream and passion that she feels fortunate to share with the Colorado community. Each experience and menu is crafted with intention. A deep devotion to the quality and care of both product and clients.

Immediately after graduating with high honors from The University of Kansas with both business and communcations degrees, Ally enrolled in a professional culinary class as a treat to herself.  After a career in corporate finance and insurance, Ally shifted gears to follow her dream of immersing herself in the food world and is a graduate of the Cook Street School of Culinary Arts and Wine in Denver, Colorado.  As someone who has spent her whole life in Colorado, she is extremely well-versed in the local, seasonal cuisine. Equally important, with a knack and passion for service, Ally will provide a high-end personable and unique experience in your kitchen. She is excited to offer personal chef services and gourmet catering to you for a unique dining experience in the Vail Valley and surrounding areas.
